Who We Are
Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services provides Group Home Residential Services. Congregate residential services provide 24-hour supports, including needed assistance and skill building activities to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community-based home and other settings in the community. Emphasis is placed on supporting each person to develop his or her personal lifestyle, so they will become as independent as possible.
Individuals receive training and assistance with:
- Personal care (bathing, dressing, eating, and grooming)
- Communication
- Mobility
- Housekeeping and laundry
- Shopping
- Food preparation
- Medication administration and physician visits
- Community activities
- Transportation to all events and appointments.
