Who We Are
Jackson-Feild Homes operates a residential Adolescent Psychiatric Program for males and females age 11 through 17 who face multiple challenges to include:
- Suicidal and self injurious threats and attempts
- Running away
- Aggressive behavior directed at people and personal property
- Poor self-control
- Substandard school attendance and performance
- Impaired perception and reasoning
- Ineffective interpersonal skills
- Severely disturbed relationships
An individualized service plan is designed to meet the individual's needs. Services available are individual, group and family therapy; cognitive behavioral skills training; medication monitoring; psychiatric services; substance abuse counseling, education and prevention; supportive counseling; social skills; anger management; employment skills; communication skills, moral development skills; parenting skills and more.
Admissions of children 18 to 21 is acceptable if the residents are placed by a local department of social services, are court ordered, or are referred by a Family Assessment and Planning Team.
