Skilled Nursing Care, Hampton Roads

Virginia Healthcare Services provides skilled nursing services and other therapeutic services, such as physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, infusion therapy, and home health aide services.  Supervision of services is provided by a Registered Nurse.  Skilled nursing provides care that can include, but is not limited to:

• Observation and assessment;
• Education and disease management;
• Diabetes care and management;
• Wound and ostomy care;
• Cardiac disease management;
• Pain management;
• Education and training for patient and caregivers;
• Medication education and management;
• In home cardiac event monitoring;
• Fall prevention and home safety;
• Intravenous Venous Therapy.
