Who We Are

Psychiatric Institute of Washington's Adult Psychiatric Service is a short-term, 24 bed stabilization program for adults 18 - 65+ with a primary psychiatric diagnosis.  Patients are assigned to one of our full-time psychiatrists and psychiatric social workers. Patients participate in an active program schedule based on a group model.  An individualized plan of care is developed by the multidisciplinary treatment team, and patients are supported in achieving their short-term and long-term goals.



Located near both Metrorail and bus routes, and metered parking is available.

Provides interpretation/ translation services for the hearing impaired and deaf.
