Fire Safety Education, CPR

Chesapeake Fire Department offers fire and life safety inspections, fire safety education through education programs and presentations to schools, senior citizens and others.  

Chesapeake Fire Department provides CPR classes periodically to the public, in conjunction with the division's volunteer auxiliary groups. The Emergency Medical Services Division of the Chesapeake Fire Department is a certified agency for the American Heart Association's CPR program. CPR Training is offered to the general public approximately four times a year at various locations in the city. Private companies or organizations can request special training sessions.



The Fire Department will provide blood pressure checks at all stations.
